Solanum lycopersicum GezahntePinkish in color, with a very thin skin and sweet, mild flavor. Very deeply pleated, making the slices almost star-shaped. Fruits are irregular in size and shape and are borne heavily on vigorous vines.
A rare variety originating from Italy. First introduced by Isabella Isabella Bührer-Keel of Basel (Switzerland) who received the seeds from an Italian man whose mother used to grow this tomato in Naples (Italy). Offered in the Seed Savers 2003 Yearbook by Sylvia Davatz of Vermont (USA) who received seeds from Pro Specie Rare in 2001.
