Solanum lycopersicum Black PepperThis extremely rare and unusual tomato really does look like a pepper. The plant is small, indeterminate, with wispy foliage and sets a number of brown fruit with distinctive shapes and tiny seed cavities
Considered a paste tomato as they are very meaty this variety could easily double as a salad tomato. Fruits come on later in the season and there are tons of them! Dark brown / muddy brick colored fruits have dark green shoulder staining which does not permeate into the meat.
